(NRCC News) – While Joe Biden took off to Ukraine over Presidents’ Day weekend for photo ops and sketchy money laundering business, President Trump paid a visit to East Palestine, Ohio, a town that was nuked with toxic chemicals after a train derailment on February 3rd.
The town has been largely ignored by the federal government and Biden as they’ve coped with having a cocktail of chemicals released into the air through a “controlled release” explosion that was signed off on by both the governor of Ohio and Pennsylvania (the town is almost on the border). Dangerous, toxic chemicals have contaminated the air and water and everything else between.
Animals, both wild and domestic, have died. Thousands of fish have been killed. Residents have experienced a myriad of physical conditions in the weeks since the derailment and only God knows what the long-term health implications will be. There’s also no telling how far these chemicals traveled after being burned and released into the atmosphere.
While Biden has ignored this small, poor community of mostly Republican voters, Donald Trump wasn’t going to let them be forgotten.
On Wednesday, Trump delivered much-needed food and supplies to East Palestine and bought lunch at McDonald’s for the fire department and other first responders.
“We have told you loud and clear: You are not forgotten,” Trump stated during his visit, NBC reported. “We stand with you, we pray for you, and we will stay with you and your fight to help [receive] the accountability that you deserve.”

“What’s your specialty today? … So I know this menu better than you do, OK? I probably know it better than anybody in here,” Trump voiced to the staff behind the counter of the McDonald’s restaurant, according to a video clip posted to Twitter.
“We’re gonna take care of the fire department. We’re gonna take care of the police department,” Trump asserted.
“We’ll take care of everything,” he declared, adding that everyone with him at the McDonald’s would get a free meal.

Trump was responding to questions when he explained, “We brought the federal government with us because when they heard I was coming, they all came. They weren’t going to come. They were going to leave you abandoned, and now they’re not.”
In fact, the federal government was planning to do nothing for the folks of East Palestine despite sending billions to Ukraine. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) had initially decided there was nothing it could do for the town. However, after Trump announced he was going to visit East Palestine last week, FEMA reversed course and changed their initial ruling.
“They were intending to do absolutely nothing for you,” Trump later remarked during a speech at the firehouse.
“What this community needs now are not excuses and all of the other things you’ve been hearing, but answers and results,” Trump said Wednesday. “And that’s what I think you’re going to see.”

While at McDonald’s, Trump was asked about Joe Biden’s trip to Europe instead of visiting East Palestine.
“Well, I think he should have come here. I think he should have been here,” Trump noted.
Trump assured residents “it will be safe soon” with FEMA’s arrival.

Trump also passed out his signature “Make America Great Again” hats to bystanders. His visit was appreciated by residents.
Joy Mascher, owner of Flowers Straight from the Heart, revealed that Trump’s visit was a morale booster for a neglected community.
“I mean, at least he’s bringing attention. I haven’t heard anything from Biden,” she commented.

Trump paid for all of it.

“I don’t think enough has been addressed by the railroad, by the state or the federal government,” she affirmed.
It has not received the attention it truly deserves and, quite frankly, nobody should be living in and around this town until the government takes control of the situation and cleans it up. If this would have happened in a town of Biden voters, it would have been dealt with immediately but nobody in the regime cares about the residents of East Palestine where over 70% voted for Trump.
Trump brought attention to the town, hope to residents, and a real response from the federal government.

THIS! Is how a real president behaves.
Say what you will about Trump. But, in his past four year tenure as President he Did Not divide the nation when a disaster struck. He was their for all the People,Republicans and Democrats alike! If President Trump was still our president this disaster would have been handled very differently,,,,many policies of the Biden Administration would have been handle differently,,,foreign and domestic.
