(NRCC News) – Catholicism and the Democratic Party are like oil and water. They don’t exactly mix yet somehow there’s a surprising number of high-profile Catholics within the party such as former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and the Party’s doddering, checked-out leader, Joe Biden.
Despite the fact that both U.S. Catholic bishops and Pope Francis himself have consistently condemned the practice of abortion and have called it murder, Catholic Democrats still continue defending it and promoting it. It’s sick, really.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, Joe Biden has taken it upon himself to speak on behalf of the Pope and the U.S. bishops in contrast to their opposition against killing unborn babies in the womb.
On Monday, a reporter questioned Biden outside the White House on the continued complaints of Catholic leadership regarding abortion funding.
“Catholic bishops are demanding that federal tax dollars not fund abortions,” the journalist said to Biden.
“No, they are not all doing that, nor is the pope doing that,” Biden shockingly remarked in response.

Huh? They are very much doing that. While Pope Francis might not be involved in this particular matter, he most certainly has maintained that abortion is murder.
Fox News reports, “The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) did, in fact, publish a letter Friday to the House of Representatives and the Senate specifically calling for end [sic] of taxpayer funding for abortion services.”
The letter could not be more clear. It reads, “Protecting taxpayers from being forced to pay for abortion in violation of their conscience is a principle that has enjoyed historically broad support among Americans, regardless of their otherwise passionately divided views on the topic. It has also been life-saving,” penned Diocese of Arlington’s Bishop Michael Burbidge, head of the USCCB’s Committee on Pro-Life Activities.
Burbidge continued in the letter, “Rather than funding abortion, Congress can better serve the common good by prioritizing policies that comprehensively assist women, children, and families in need in ways that will not only encourage childbirth but make it easier to welcome and raise a new child.”
The head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, has not given any wiggle room on the topic. The pontiff has likened abortion to “hiring a hitman” and noted humanity ought to “leave killing to the animals.”
Just last year, the Pope was interviewed by Univision and was asked about Biden’s contradictory beliefs despite claiming to be a “devout Catholic.” The Pope, in response, called Biden “incoherent.”
“I leave it to [President Biden’s] conscience and that he speaks to his bishop, his pastor, his parish priest about that incoherence,” the Pope stated in the July 2022 interview.

Naturally, Catholics were outraged at Biden’s invoking the Pope in his defense of federal abortion funding. Some have even called on the Vatican to officially set the record straight. One particular U.S. bishop slammed Biden over his “fake Catholicism.”
“Mr. Biden can’t be allowed to twist the words of Pope Francis in this way,” wrote Diocese of Tyler Bishop Joseph Strickland. “I implore the Vatican press office to emphatically clarify that Pope Francis rightly calls abortion murder. It is time to denounce Biden’s fake Catholicism.”
Joe Biden does appear to be a fake Catholic only using the religion to appeal to voters. He’s leading many astray with his assertion that the Catholic Church is somehow endorsing or condoning the federal government funding of abortion.
The Church could not be more clear on its stance against the killing of unborn babies.

Biden should be excommunicated as a message to any Catholic or Christian of any denomination that sanctions abortion. He has no right to the title Catholic or Christian. Abortion is murder. Pure and simple. And the only reason it is a big issue in politics is that those who demand it re simply showing that they want the ability to have sex anywhere, anytime, with anyone they choose (sometimes without regard to age) and no God is going to take away that right. It is the Satanic motto “Do as thou wilt.” And God help anyone who gets in their way.
