(NRCC News) – Everything the Biden regime does and says is calculated and serves its radical agenda. Regime officials routinely smudge numbers, hide data and tell blatant lies all in an effort to suppress the truth, manipulate Americans and push their demented plans.
On Friday, the president of the National Border Patrol Council called out these underhanded, deceptive tactics after Congress passed the $1.7 trillion omnibus spending package which funds the Border Patrol along with other government agencies.
“It’s all political. Everything that this administration does, it has a political calculus. They didn’t want to release the numbers because they knew the omnibus was coming up,” Brandon Judd told “Fox and Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade. “If they would have released the numbers, you would have seen a larger push to get border security funding in that omnibus. That’s what this administration does. They don’t care about the American people, they care about politics.”
Shamefully the House of Representatives passed the bill on Friday. Now the spending package will go to Biden.
The package funds the US Customs and Border Patrol and ICE but the money comes with restrictions. The $1,563,143,000 alloted the CBP is only to be used for “operations and support” while prohibiting the agency from using it “to acquire, maintain, or extend border security technology and capabilities, except for technology and capabilities to improve Border Patrol processing.”
Democrats are clearly not interested in stopping the 2.3 million migrants that flooded the border during the 2022 fiscal year, and those are just the ones that made contact with agents. There was another 600,000 that evaded detection but that number is probably much higher in reality. The CBP has been completely overwhelmed and unable to do their jobs since Joe Biden has taken over and now Congress is further tying their hands.
Making matters worse is the fact that the agency can’t even find enough people willing to do the job and have been failing to meet hiring quotas. The bill allows for more agents but Judd pointed out it won’t matter.
“There’s a small hiring of 300 agents, but that doesn’t matter because we can’t already meet our hiring quota. Last year we weren’t able to meet the 1,700 agents that we were supposed to hire. We hired about 200 less than that,” Judd added. “So we can’t even meet that quota as it is. And that’s law enforcement across the board, throughout the entire nation. It simply, again, comes back to politics.”
There’s no question the Biden regime has been hiding the truth to push its radical agenda. We can all be thankful that Republicans will soon be in control of the House.
Hopefully Biden won’t be able to get much done with a split government. Unfortunately, he already got this spending package approved. Don’t expect things at the border to get better any time soon.
