Scandal-Plagued Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell Seeks To Ban Trump From U.S. Capitol Forever

(NRCC News) – Democrats are such brazen hypocrites and they have absolutely no shame or self-awareness. US Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) is the living embodiment of all things wrong with the Democratic Party that the American people are sick of.

In case you forgot, Swalwell is the congressional sucker who fell victim to a honeytrap set by the Chinese Communist Party and got caught having sexual relations with a known Chinese spy.

After finally being removed from the House Intelligence Committee now that Republicans are in control (since Democrats are totally fine with Chinese spying), Swalwell is desperately seeking attention any way he can get it. His latest ploy is his sponsorship of a bill that would ban President Trump from entering the Capitol building ever again.

The good news is, the bill introduced last week by US Rep. Nikema Williams (D-GA) has only one sponsor and that would be Swalwell. That didn’t stop him from promoting the bill on Twitter as if it were a popular or even reasonable idea, and defending his decision to sponsor it. His tweet also showed America how super smart he is.

“[W]hen the village nearly burns down, we don’t invite the arsonist back to visit. Duh,” he tweeted after whining about Fox News’ reporting on it.

The resolution reads: “The Sergeant at Arms of the House of Representatives, the Sergeant at Arms and Doorkeeper of the Senate, and the United States Capitol Police shall take such actions as may be necessary to prohibit President Donald John Trump, Steve Bannon, Mark Meadows, Dan Scavino, Peter Navarro, Jeffrey Clark, John Eastman, Kenneth Cheseboro, and Rudy Giuliani from entering the United States Capitol.”

The measure was first introduced by Williams back on Jan. 13, 2021, the same day the House voted to impeach Trump on a charge of inciting the so-called insurrection that took place at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

The resolution is nothing more than propaganda as it claims that the Jan. 6 protest “damaged the functions of our democracy,” and falsely asserts that the protest “claimed the lives of five law enforcement officers.”

The resolution wouldn’t just ban Trump, it would ban all of his closest associates and advisors including former Trump aide Steve Bannon; former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows; former White House deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino; former Trump assistant Peter Navarro; former Assistant Attorney General Jeffrey Clark; and Trump attorneys John Eastman, Kenneth Chesebro and Rudy Giuliani.

Swalwell has decided to sponsor the bill because he will do anything for attention after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy booted him from the House Intel committee. Since his removal, Swalwell also claimed his family has received rape and death threats that he seems to believe McCarthy is responsible for.

“It inspires these death threats. People parrot what Kevin McCarthy is saying when they call and make the threats,” Swalwell stated.

“He knows that. We’ve told this to him. I have told this to him. I have, you know, publicly broadcast to him that when you do this, it leads to threats to me, my wife, our kids,” he added. “Recently, someone said that they were going to rape and kill my children, and they were using the language that Kevin McCarthy was using.”

Swalwell evidently thinks he should have been allowed to stay on the Intel committee despite his close relationship to a CCP spy. He doesn’t think Americans should be bothered by that. The death threats are clearly McCarthy’s fault, not that of his own actions, and don’t forget, “orange man bad.”
