(NRCC News) – The “Twitter Files” just keep coming! In the latest edition collusion between Big Tech and the Biden regime is further exposed, this time regarding the COVID charade.
Big Tech worked hand-in-hand with the Biden regime to suppress and censor what it deemed to be “misinformation” about COVID on the platform. The “Twitter Files” shows this was done in an effort to further the regime’s radical agenda.
On Monday, author and journalist David Zweig shared a thread on Twitter showing how the platform “rigged the COVID debate” by censoring inconvenient information about the pandemic, silencing health experts who dissented from the government’s consensus, and “suppressing ordinary users, including some sharing the CDC’s *own data*.”
Zweig started off by pointing out that at the onset of COVID, the Trump administration met with social media sites, hoping to “combat misinformation” that would result in panic buying and runs on grocery stores.

THE TWITTER FILES: HOW TWITTER RIGGED THE COVID DEBATE
– By censoring info that was true but inconvenient to U.S. govt. policy
– By discrediting doctors and other experts who disagreed
– By suppressing ordinary users, including some sharing the CDC’s *own data*— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

They came looking for “help from the tech companies to combat misinformation” about “runs on grocery stores.” But . . . there were runs on grocery stores. pic.twitter.com/duzk2I1Y7T

What Zweig reveals about the Biden regime’s actions is particularly disturbing but not surprising.
Zweig wrote that when Biden and his regime took over, they immediately met with Twitter and put pressure on it to do more to suppress “anti-vaxxer” accounts, including journalists like Alex Berenson, a former New York Times journalist who criticized the draconian COVID measures and restrictions being imposed on a state and federal level.

Zwieg noted that after Biden’s meeting with Twitter, Berenson was kicked off the platform.
9. In the summer of 2021, president Biden said social media companies were “killing people” for allowing vaccine misinformation. Berenson was suspended hours after Biden’s comments, and kicked off the platform the following month.

It wasn’t just journalists, however, who were targeted by the regime and Big Tech. Health experts who dared to share information contrary to the government’s so-called “experts” also found themselves being censored, silenced and banned.
One such health expert was Harvard epidemiologist Dr. Martin Kulldorf. The views he shared on Twitter were routinely slapped with a “misleading” label. In one instance, Kulldorf was simply questioning the wisdom behind the regime insisting everyone needed to get the COVID vaccines.

The latest installment of the “Twitter Files” once again proves that Twitter essentially acted as an extension of the federal government just like it had done previously in suppressing stories about Hunter Biden and silencing political opponents of the radical left.

As Musk points out correctly, “reasoned” questioning is always appropriate. That was lacking for the most part.
Where the rub comes in, when observation is made about policies of “other countries” we live here, and not in another “country.” We should follow policy established by our country. If you don’t wish to do that, feel free to leave and become resident of that some other “country.”
